The aim of this project is to present video portraits of the incredible people who made Schenectady the original Electric City. These were members of our community, They were giants on the worlds technical stage and yet they were also our neighbors. The trail they blazed is still traveled in our community by a new generation of inventors, entrepreneurs and bold business leaders.This project will try to capture the heritage from those pioneering wizards to be offered as positive role models to our children so that they too can enjoy Schenectady's rich culture of success.

Dr. Suits and his Flying Machine
This is the first in a series Wizard Project Videos produced by the Edison Exploratorium.It featured the late Dr. Guy Suits and won first place in the 2007 Schenectady Film Festival.
Dr. Suits ran the General Electric Research and Development Center from 1945 to 1965.
